Source, Rutland, Vt.Daily Herald--Mon.Dec.10, 1923. GRANVILLE, N.Y. MARRIED 50 YEARS. Wednesday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Rowland T. Williams celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding. A banquet was served to 70 guests and the following programs rendered ; Remark , Rev. J. Parry Jones : presentation of purse , Thomas Rowlands , Mr. and Mrs. Williams responding ; solo, Hazel Owens ; African song, John A. Hughes ; remarks by David Pritchard, Owen W. Jones, John M. Davies and Rees G. Williams ; recitations, R. G. Jones, Owen J. Jones ; solo, Miss Gwyneth Davies. The entire affair was superintended by Stephen Thomas .Mr. and Mrs. Williams were married in Wales, but moved to Granville about 40 years ago.
