I guess I should clarify............William LaValley was born c. 1856 in Canada........moved to Fort Edward sometime after 1910. He and his family are found in the 1920 census for Fort Edward. Yes, all his family are buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fort Edward, but HE is missing. He is not in the 1925 Census for Fort Edward. The bus driver that Anne spoke of, may have been a descendant. William also had a first born of some 16 children that was named William. William Jr. who was married to Harriet Wood is said to have drowned in the canal as well as Wm. Jr's son, Theodore. Is anyone working on this family line or know of this family? Thanks again. Brenda
