    3. Hi Margo. Thanks. I contact the church today and they said they would look next week. I was curious about St Patrick's - as I know it was a separate cemetery in Granville - and it appeared to be mostly Irish. I don't think I have any relatives buried there that I have found. Do you know about when the church "closed"? 1. [NYWASHIN] St. Mary's Granville
    2. A few years back I checked with St. Mary's in Granville. They have records there for their parish and Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was in Middle Granville. I was told that the records for St. Patrick's the early mission church do not exist. I'm not sure how complete the records are. I couldn't find my Great Grandparents marriage records but found a few of their relatives. My Grandfather though he was baptized in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church could never locate his baptismal certificate there. You could contact them and see what is available. They also have the records for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel cemetary. Last I heard they were not transcribed into any database but like I said it has been a few years. I wasn't allow to go through them myself but the secretary looked them up and was able to make copies for me. Depending on when your ancestors were born you may not find anything. I know at one time Masses were said in people's homes by a traveling priest. My grandfather had at his home, when I was growing up, the dresser that the priest used as an altar. I hope this helps, Margo

Anyone ever had luck viewing their records? Any other Catholic churches in the general area that I should be checking? Thanks to All Kevin

    3. Donna I am taking a training course next week as I am working the Census in my area. Perhaps there will be some information on where this data will be stored (if stored) and if information or paper is going to be destroyed as to what it will consist of. 2. Eileen Bernier
    3. Hi, I know I have made this request before but it was quite a while back and I am hoping that new people may have joined this group. I am searching for information on my ggrandfather, Joseph Lambert; I have very little information on him but here is what I have; born White Creek (or Salem) New York 27 Dec 1811; died 08, Nov 1870 in Manchester, Bennington, VT; married 02 Dec 1834 Harriet L. Beebe in Manchester, Bennington, VT; His father was James Lambert and his mother Jerusha. I would like to find info on his parents; also be able to locate birth records on Joseph if possible. Any info on this family would be appreciated. I've looked for years but never seem to come up with anything more. Thanks Eileen

    1. [NYWASHIN] Correction of query: Aaron Brown and Martha after 1880
    2. Donald Brown
    3. I mistakenly listed Owen in my previous query -I'm really looking for Aaron Brown; there is no Owen I'm looking for the death and burial place and death records of Aaron Brown. The 1880 fed census shows him at Bolton,NY but he disappears after that. The family folk lore says he was sick and dying and wanted to return to his childhood hometown to spend his last days there. Granville seems to be a possibility in earlier census records but no evidence there. Don Brown

    3. I'm looking for the death and burial place and death records of Aaron Brown. The 1880 fed census shows him at Bolton,NY but he disappears after that. The family folk lore says he was sick and dying and wanted to return to his childhood hometown to spend his last days there. It is shown that his wife Eliz was with him in 1880 but she later reappears at the Alms house, in Bolton/Warrensburg, NY and dies there in 1892. Aaron's son George died 1879 in California leaving a grandson Seward Brown, a minor there. Did he go to California? Granville seems to be a possibility in earlier census records Don Brown
