He had three wives. I am descended from his marriage to Lucy Corbett 1799-1842 through their daughter, Laura Ann, who married William Armstrong of Johnsburgh, NY. Any information on the Browns or Corbetts, etc.. is much appreciated. John's father was John Prentice Brown 1776-1839, mother, Polly Earl... No info yet on the Earls either.
