    3. The Queensbury quintuplets must have lived near the present-day Fort Ann line, for here is what we find in The Washington Post newspaper of Salem, Washington County, for 10 March 1808: "The wife of David Irish of Westfield was delivered of five children, two sons and three daughters. They were alive when born, but died in a few hours. They altogether weighed seven pounds and five ounces." The mother was Sally (Phelps) Irish, b. CT c. 1786, dau. of Norman and Sarah (Cole) Phelps. Sally and her husband David Irish settled at Groveland MI in 1837. Their other children were Norman, Liberty B., Julius, Susan B. and Manly Irish.
