Hi Rose, Can't remember is i responded to your listing of 10/1/98 but I have info on the two F & I War battles of Ft. Carillion, later renamed Ft. Ticonderoga. also have ancestor who participated in both as well as the First Battle of Lake George (Sir Wm Johnson commanding) and Crown Point. I would be interested in info to trade as well as any info on Col Munro who was forced to surrender Ft Wm Henry to Montcalm. I seek Munro for purely Historical reasons as I have no MUNRO in my genealogy work (at this time) I am also interested in military info on the British commanders Sir Wm Johnson, Abercrombie, and Amhurst. They were the primary British commanders for the engagements in the Champlain Valley. My ancestor is Brig Gen Timothy RUGGLES. I would like to begin a list/file of those who have ancestral officers or soldiers who participated in any of the engagements.any contacts are always welcome. Since I have had a few private inquities for some of this info, I am posting this to a number of the lists in the hope that interest is increasing in this part of our history.
