    1. Glens Falls
    2. Greetings! I am trying to locate information on my gggg grandfather, Job PRINCE. He purchased a farm near Glens Falls, NY in 1819. He died in 1828 and is buried in Reynolds Corners cemetery His wife, Rhoda KIBBE PRINCE, died in 1831. My questions are: 1. What happened to the farm? Shouldn't there be some form of will or probate? Would I look in 1827 or 1831 when his wife died? Where would I look? 2. Who would have records on Reynolds Corners cemetery? There is a marker there for Job, but not Rhoda. Is it possible she is buried there in an unmarked grave? 3. Were there local papers that would have had obituary information in them at that time? 4. Anybody else researching the PRINCE line? 5. I can't find a marriage record for them either. Rhoda's family is well documented. They even have her listed in several editions with the right birth and death dates, but no record of the marriage or children. (There were ten of them) In fact, they don't list her as being married. How would researchers 100 years ago have handled it if indeed there wasn't a marriage, they were just living together and she just assumed his name? There was an 18 year age difference between them. My apologies for this being so long. Thank you for all your help. Regards, Annette Blanchard
