Hi Listers: I wonder if anyone in Warren Co. & thereabouts remembers & might have any info. on the Waterhouse Restaurant in Lake Luzerne, & it's owner, a William WATERHOUSE. To go back in time; My late wife & I spent our honeymoon at Lake Geo- rge in 1956, & while there went to this restaurant where we had an excellent meal, & had a interesting conversation with the owner, Mr. Waterhouse, in which we exchanged some family information, & we both felt there were similarities in our ancestry which might indicate we were descended from the same line. We never returned there, & through all the years that have passed, had no further contact, & the meeting was forgotten. In the past cou- ple of years I have been researching my Waterhouse ancestry, & when recently going through some old family memorabilia, I came across a book of matches from the Waterhouse Restaurant in Lake Luzerne,NY which were picked up during our 1956 visit. This opened up many mem- ories from the past, & got me wondering if Mr. Waterhouse or any of his family or relatives were still in the area who I could be put in con- tact with, & could pursue a possible connection between our ancestry- [After all these years]. If there is anyone out there who can help me with any info., it will be sincerely appreciated.
