The Ticonderoga Historical Society will be offering the third class in their Genealogy Summer Series on Wednesday, June 12th. "Genealogy Online" is a class designed to enhance family history research through the use of the Internet. It will cover what can be expected from online research, genealogy software, networking through the use of mail lists and query boards, using controlled searches, and the validity of information online. The class will be held from 7:00-9:00p.m. at the Hancock House Museum. There is a $20 fee for the class and pre-registration is encouraged. Class size is limited to 20 people. Two additional classes will be offered in the Summer Series: "The Hidden Half: Searching for Female Ancestors" on July 10th; and "A Match Made in Heaven: Bringing your Ancestors to Life through Genealogy and Social History" o! n July 24th.
