    3. Robin, Just read your message about the Starbuck Hill Cem. in Chester. There is a published list of people buried in the cemetery which is in Crandall Library in Glens Falls. It was compiled by Hazel Randall Gordon and called "Starbuck Hill Cemetery, Chestertown, NY." It was done many years ago, but no publication date is listed. In the 1930s, a collection was taken to erect a fence around the graveyard, and donations came mostly from descendants of those buried there. The book lists the amount donated by each person. I have the following ancestors buried there: Richard Pri(t)chard, d. May 27, 1816, aged 45 yrs., 10 mos., 20 days; his wife Mary (Jeffreys) Pri(t)chard, d. May 9, 1839, aged 73 yrs.; their son, Samuel Pri(t)chard, d. march 11, 1815, aged 19 yrs., 6 mos, 28 days. The Prichards were my gr'gr'gr'grandparents, who came to Warren Co., NY from Wales in 1802. I put the "t" in parentheses, as it was not originally spelled that way, but several of their children began to use that spelling. Hope this helps clarify the issue.
