Hi, Information from West, Edith Willoughby Goodman, The Goodmans of Bolton, New York, Glens Falls, NY, Bullard Press, 1930, regarding your Tuttle family: p. 52: Sarah ----, b. 24 January 1781, probably at Bolton, NY, m. 1) Stephen Tuttle of Bolton and had children Sidney W. and Lovice. She m. 2)Samuel Goodman 1816. Sarah d. 15 August 1832; p. 56: Sidney W. Tuttle m. Roxie Goodman in 7 Jan. 1830. Roxie was child of Eleazar and Elizabeth (Catlin) Goodman, b. 6 Sept. 1805 in Bolton, d. 24 March 1840. Their only surviving child was Sidney W., Jr., b. 3 Sept. 1834 at Bolton, d. 27 April 1916 at SanAntonio, TX; p. 68: Sidney, Jr. m. 1) Thirza A, Mead, daughter of Levi Mead of Chester, NY 12 May 1857 and had son, Forrest Tuttell, b. 18 May 1860, d. June, 1860. Thirza was b. at Chester 1 Jan. 1837 and d. at Austin, TX 2 Feb. 1879. Sidney then m. 2) Mrs. Julia VanPatten Calkins on 17 Aug. 1881. She was born in Rome, NY 19 April 1846, dau. of Adam and Nancy VanPatten and d. 9 Sept. 1904 at Bolton, buried at Rome, NY. Their children were Nellie Tuttle, b. 23 July 1883 at San Antonio, TX and Sidney Wyght Tuttle, b. 23 Nov. 1886; p. 81: Nellie. m. Oscar Julius Fox on 23 Dec. 1904. Children: Julia Fox, b. 23 Dec. 1905, Nellie Fox, b. 16 Dec. 1906, and Emma Fox, b. 21 June, 1911. Sidney Wyght Tuttle m. Mildren H. hays 18 Nov. 1908 and had children Sidney Eugene, b. 23 Aug. 1911, d. 30 march 1927; Ethel Hays, b. 18 Sept. 1914; Jean Margot, b. 22 Aug. 1920. Hope this helps.
