(an advertisement in Marquis 1909 "Who's Who in New England") ~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE LIVINGSTON SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN KINGSTON-ON-HUDSON, NEW YORK Miss Mary Moncrieffe Livingston, Principal A home school for little boys and girls, from 4 to 14 years of age. Boarding pupils limited to 10, in home of principal and all treated as members of refined family. Day pupils received. The school is now in its sixth year and is located in two large connecting houses, with all modern conveniences, indoor playroom, ample playgrounds, etc. Pupils prepared for entrance to any academy. Faculty of university and normal school graduates, and only the most approved methods followed. Kingston stands first in health record in the State of New York for place of its size. She (Livingston) subsequently removed to Baltimore, MD, and founded (1910) a Garrison Forest School, a girls' day and boarding school.
