In 1830 USC this couple was in Boston,MA., 1840 USC they appear in Alabama, Genesee co. NY along with 2 of their 3 daughters. Then they disappear. I have checked all cemetery records on line for both Genesee,Orleans counties, and have identified all other Weatherwax families that I know were in the area. Jacob was a glass blower in Boston from 1827 until just before 1840 USC. His daughter Maria b:1821 married a Benjamin F. Slack in Boston in 1840, she later died in Brockton ,Ma in 1903. I have her death certificate whixh identifes her parents. This Jacob Weatherwax was one of the sons of John Laurenz Weatherwax (1764-1844) and his wife Anna Milliussin (1763-1811) He was sometimes referred to as Jacob A. Wetherwax. He is not from the line of Jacob Weatherwax b:1743,who married Catherine Grauberger and moved to Orleans co NY in 1818, where he died. I have also searched the 1850 USC all states extensively for him or his wife without success, which leads me to believe they may have died in Genesee county before USC1850.
