I am helping a writer compile a history of the Garrison Forest School (MD) which was founded in 1910 or 1914 by a Miss Mary Moncrieffe Livingston. You can find details of her life -- such as we have -- on my website, here <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Edav4is/ODTs/LIVINGSTON.shtml#LVNG649> and here <http://www.gencircles.com/users/dav4is/120/data/649>. She was my distant cousin. As you can see, she had previously been associated with a Livingston School for Children in Kingston (1909), and was also associated with a Livingston-Jerson Kindergarten, also in Kingston. I have the following specific questions that I hope that you can help me with: 1. We don't know where Miss Livingston was born, the best we have been able to find was the census which just says "NY". Can you help pin that down more? 2. We have only a simple death notice from the Baltimore papers. Was a more complete obituary published in Kingston? Or in her home town? 3. Were the Livingston School and the Livingston-Jerson Kindergarten one and the same? 4. Where in Kingston were they located? 5. What became of these schools? Any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you, -- Regards, Rod Dav4is / P.O.
