-- [ From: Richard Frisbie * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] -- Thanks Peggy Dolan. No Betti, there is only one 120th - but the 20th is a good bet. On the Ulster NYGenWeb page is a contact for Civil War genealogy queries who has written about the 20th. Give him a try - his name is Seward Osbourne. www.hopefarm.com/geneatop.htm Incidently, the 120 roster is online to search. (but it was still kind of you to look it up Peggy!) Richard (Hope Farm) -------- REPLY, Original message follows -------- Hi Betti, I have a history of the 120th Regiment NYS Volunters, with rosters, by C. Van Santvoord, that I got from Hope Farm Press. I see a Mortimer VAN ETTEN in Co. B, but he is the only VAN ETTEN I can find. Are you sure it is the 120th, not perhaps the 20th?? Or was there another 120th from Ulster? Btw, there is a John A. EVERY in Co. D. Regards, Peggy Peggy Dolan outtolaunch@juno.com
