In researching my DECKER line, I have run across stories about GRIETJEN HENDRICKS WESTERCAMP, PIETER JACOBSEN and husband, JAN GERRETSEN DECKER. She and Pieter are referred to in court minutes about establishing paternity to her child. She later married JAN GERRETSEN DECKER in 1664. In a separate document, I read that a GRIETJEN WESTERCAMP, 3 children, and a JAN GERRITSEN were taken prisoners after the Indian Massacre at "New Village" (Hurley) and Wildwyck, June 7, 1663.
