(Need to check their hours - limited!) # 2 stop - Goshen Public Libe - If you are looking for someone particular - and OCGS doesn't have it a quick stop at the Goshen libe may find a clue. (located 1 block east of OCGS. They have some stuff not in OCGS) #3 stop - Newburgh public libe. Evening & Sat hours (the others are days only). (Don't be put off by the location - their parking lot is near the building - and they can escort you out after dark - but be wary of the lower end of Newburgh main street - keep car doors locked) Forget Albany! Kingston Public Libe is decent. Ulster Co Hist Society limited. The Orange Cty Surrogate is only if you have specific wills that you want copies of. Not a fishing expedition place.
