    3. Dear ?: I saw your message regarding Snyder name on the Ulster List. My ancestors lived in the Kingston, Saugerties area. A gggAunt named Rachel Miller b 1833 d 1918 left an estate to her nieces and nephews. One of which was listed as "Ida Snyder of Brooklyn". I have not yet figured out how any Snyder's are related to my Miller/Hommel/Burnett families. BUT -- I also have some OLD photo albums -- most of the pictures don't have names but before she died, my great aunt did write in the names she new and possibly some were already written in but -- the point is there are 2 pictures of children with the names Theresa Snyder and Arthur Snyder. These are studio photos not tin types. So I figure the are probably mid-late 1800s. Do any of these names mean anything to you? Look forward to hearing from you again. My ggggrandfather, John H. Snyder was b. 1793 >in Marbletown, Ulster Co., NY. He married in 1823 to Anna Maria (surname >unknown) b. 1801 in Hurley, Ulster Co., NY. Where would I look for their marriage record and then, when I find >out Anna Maria's surname, their birth records? This does not mention where they are buried nor does >it >say where the parents died, only when.
