Fran, My gr-gr-grandfather (on my mother's side), John Barnet Hoyt, married Irene F. Bishop 25 Oct 1868. Irene was born 1851 in Woodstock and died 16 Apr 1896 ae 43 of pneumonia, buried Wesleyan Methodist Church cemetery, Willow, Ulster Co., NY. John & Irene had seven children, four of whom died very young. I don't know who Irene's parents were, but if there's a link to your Bishops, I'd be glad to exchange info. I am a descendant of their daughter Olive who was born in 1886 and died 1966.
