Looking for anything I can find on AARON SIMKINS, b. Dec 1, 1817, in ULSTER CO, NY, according to family information. I assume he may have been son of SILAS SIMKINS, listed Rochester twp., Ulster CO, in 1820 and 1830 census, before moving on to Chemung County by 1840. He married Eliza M. BURT (b. Mar 14, 1820, Berkshire CO, MA) on Sep. 14, 1843 (don't know where but presume somewhere in NY), and they were in Branch CO, MI, for the rest of their lives. Aaron d.
