Hi Everyone! I think this is the first time I have inquired about my Bakers. Justus Baker was born c. l753, he had a brother, James, born c. l769. He served in the Revolutionary War out of Fishkill, Dutchess Co., NY. He married in 1780 Mercy (Marcy, Mary?) Brown in Fishkill. They had two sons, Jacob (1784) and Archelaus (Archibald) l786. Four daughters were born later, Peggy (Langton), Sarah (Scott), Clarissa (Upright) and Catherine (Crawford). Archelaus (Archibald), my 3rd great-grandfather, married Catherin Mack in l8l6.
