Greetings Group: I have a copy of my gggrandparents marriage record from Vital Statistics in Albany. It is not easy to read. I am trying to figure out the Town George Phillips was born in and resided in. It looks like "Wilter, Ulster Co." or maybe it is "Walter" -- wondering if anyone has an idea --- the bride, Elizabeth Burnett was from Saugerties and the marriage took place in Rondout in 1885 - no church mentioned - the "minister"'s signiture is also difficult -- something like M Andrew Lehiers - the witnesses are Mattie H Schrier and Carrie Schrier -- I think -- George had a sister Carrie.
