Elsie The birth record of his son just said 'Milton, NY' not what country. I saw someway that there has been at least 5 towns call Milton over the years. Some got rename. I am surprised that you didn't see some Dimsey's in Ulster and Dutchess counties though, there are a number of them in the 1850 and 1860 census index. Well thanks for looking I appreciate it Victor
