I recently found a newspaper clipping about my grandfather, John Adam Grismer. Between the years 1878 and 1925, he made a trip to Germany for several months and upon his return "...His stay in Newburgh upon his return was very short, as he has several teams doing work in Kingston, and went to that place yesterday afternoon." I have no date when this occurred and was wondering if anyone would have any idea of projects that were occurring in Kingston, my guess is between 1878 and 1906 that a person would have 'several teams doing work'? I have no idea what projects would fit into this description. I guess I am asking for an educated guess. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could find this information? My research for him has concentrated in Newburgh and Germany. This article has come as a complete surprise. Thank you for any ideas or assistance you could give me. Marge
