Hi, Last week I found (I think) my mggf on the 1850 Census. He was listed in Demming township. This week I went and looked on the 1860 census and couldn't even find the family. Does anyone know if the township of Demming was split? If so what new township was formed? I am looking for William Dennis b. 184?. The William Dennis I found was listed as Wm. Curtis, age 11; son of George and Phoebe Dennis. I think this is the William Dennis who married my mggm Sarah Sheeley (Sheley). I would also like to know if anyone knows if the Sheeley Cemetary still exists. Sarah was to have been buried there but I am not sure where it is (was). Any help greatly appreciated.
