Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. It has been suggested that John HILL was born in Scotland but proof is lacking. This HILL family does not fit in with any known Hill line in New York or New England, or anywhere else for that matter. Polly Eastman was born in New Fairfield, CT. Their first child, Caleb, was born in Dutchess County and the other three in Wallkill, Ulster County.
