I have two members of the Burke family, Michael & John from Newburgh who joined the USArmy about 1882. Would anyone know if the USA was involved in war or any hostile actions between 1880 & 1910 that they would have served in? Also does anyone know if the St Patrick's R.C. church in Newburgh has written copies of their registers of births marriages and deaths.Also where in Newburgh would I apply for copies of B.M. &DEATH certificates.Any help much appreciated.
