Hi! Thought I would post my Lockwood info again..in hopes of finding a connection! Abraham Lockwood born April 14, 1813. He died Oct 12, 1887 in Ulster County, NY. He married Sarah randall born 1823 and died 1905 in Ulster County NY. Their children: Wilbur born 1840 in Olive, Ulster County, NY James W. born 1842 and died in 1863 in VA (Civil War) Jane born 1845 and married Smith. She died in 1921 in Shandaken, Ulster County Mary was born 1847 Sherman born 1850 or 1851 Abram born 1857 Chas born 1860 Walter born 1863. He lived in Peekskill NY for a bit and had at least 1 son named Byron. All the children are born in Ulster County NY Wilbur Lockwood who was born in 1840 died May 15, 1913 in Shady, Ulster County, NY. He married Elizabeth Rules born 1848. Their children: Martha born 1867/8 may have married a Walter Van Kueren James W. born 1868 Mary born 1876. She married Orrin Merwin in Susquehanna,PA in 1894. Orrin was the son of Orrin Merwin and Stella Beers. All 3 children born in Ulster County NY James W. Lockwood born 1868 married Nellie M. Grant Oct 1888 in Margaretville, Delaware County, NY. Nellie was the daughter of William P. Grant and Harriet Newell. She was born in Greene County, NY. Their children: Chester born 1889. Married Bessie Carnegie in Sanford, Broome County, NY.They lived in Susquehanna, PA and had 3 children:Pauline, Paul and Irene Eva born Aug. 1890. She died 1960 in Susquehanna, PA. She married James Ivey (1889-1958) lived in Susquehanna and their children: James, Kenneth, Catherine, and 2 more daughters. James W. born 1892 and died Jan. 1960. He married Ethel May Davis (1901-1943) in Deposit, Delaware County, NY. They had 9 children: Althea, Durel, irving, Dean, Theodore, Janice, William, and Lawrence. James and Ethel May also lived in Broome County and Oneonta, Otsego County,NY. Many of this line is buried in Plains cemetery in Oneonta. Sarah (Sadie) J. born 1893 married Clarence henry King in Deposit, Delaware County, NY. Both died Oct. 1918 in the flu epidemic in Sanford, broome County, NY Sidney was born 1895 and married Gertrude Bullis.They had Mildred marie and Frances Nellie G. born April 1901 in delhi, Delaware County, NY. She married a Raymond Church. She lived in Oneonta and had no children. The James W. that married Nellie Grant is a bit of a mystery..he died between 1905 and 1915 can't find his record in NY or PA yet. If anyone has any info on this line, please let me know.
