Myra - I have an Abraham Dolson m 1734 in Kingston NY to a Sloat. They had five children, one son 4 daughters. This is further back than yours - but may help in finding a connection. The son was Jonas b 1737. Eager's History of Orange Co. lists Abraham, Jr; Abraham, Sr; Isaac, Matthew as signers of the Revolutionary Pledge in Goshen on June 8, 1775. Don't know how these connect.
