Hi everyone! Looking for any info on my Lockwood family: Abraham (abram) Lockwood born circa 1812 lived in Ulster County, NY. Married Sarah Randall who was born 1823. Abram died 1887 and Sarah 1905.They had: Wilbur born 1840 in Ulster county (died 1913) James W. born 1842 died of sickness during the civil war in 1863. Jane born 1845 Mary born 1847 Sherman born 1850 or 1851 Abram born circa 1857 Chas born circa 1860 Walter born 1863 (he moved to Peekskill. Married ?? and had at least one child, Byron born 1894) Wilbur married Elizabeth Rules born 1848. They had......Martha born 1868 who may have married a Walter Van Kueren., James W. (most likely named after Wilbur's brother James W. who died during the civil war in VA), he married Nellie M. GRant in 1888 in Margaretville, Delaware county, NY, and Mary born circa 1878 in Ulster County. Wilbur served int he civil war and was a stone cutter. James Lockwood married Nellie Grant. James death date may remain forever a mystery. He was a quarry man. He moved to Wayne County PA, lived in Delaware County, and Broome County.
