Hello there, What and where do I obtain a will etc re: John Morris who died in Marbletown in about 1840. He is a rev war guy that is supposed to be my JOHN MORRIS. Re-read his pension application yesterday and there is a slim chnce he is mine. Problem is that would a father with kids in ELMIRA and The FINGER LAKES area stay in ULSTER ? Especially when he once had many business dealings and apparently lived in Havanna , Schuyler. These Morris are tough and there are too many John's and you have to hunt them down to eliminate. But he does say he fought with Hollenbeck and Shoemaker and those are ties. Any help appreciated. Is Whiteplains in Ulster? Last question, what county is Binghamton in?
