    3. Christine: I have Wordens in my tree as well and I'm forwarding on 2 emails I received on the Worden Branch. I don't have too much but also sending copy to the cousin in Michigan who is the Worden Expert. Hope this ties in with your Wordens and we get a hit here! #1:Ann Jurckes/Jurchse/Yerex/Yerks married Joseph Orser/Osser/Auser/Aarse/Aertse 13Sept 1746. In 1783 they left NY for Quebec. Son John stayed behind and eventually got the land in Westchester Co. Daughter Phoebe was already married to Jeremiah WORDEN and went to Saint John, NB with his family. In 1800 Jeremiah's father Gabriel died so they left NB and settled in Kingston Ontario with Phoebe's mother and her siblings. The son Orsers populated Ontario with surname ORSER. Annes parents were Johannes Jurchse and Rachel Willemse.(Vicki's note: I descend from the Jurchse/Yerks/Yerex/Yourex's so have a lot of info if you would like.) Johannes Jurckse parents were Johannes Jurckse and Annetze Jochem Van Wert and this Johannes parents were Paulus and Christina. #2: In 1783 Ann and Joseph left NYC for Quebec with rest of unmarried children (minus John). Joseph died in Sorel, Que. Ann went onto Kingston and obtained land as a Loyalist. Her sons populated Ontario with surname ORSER. Phoeb went with her husband and his family to Saint John, NB. They settled in Grand Bay (resort now and land expensive). Jeremiahs father Gabriel died 1800 and in 1801 Jeremiah left NB and settled with Phoebes family in Kingston. C. E.
