Hello, I hate to ask as I am not much of a helper on this list but I PROMISE I have helped many especially with the MORRIS surname and in the South central part of NY. Thus I ask if any of you that offered to do look ups might do me the favor of giving the old book a look for Marriages in particular of a John MORRIS very early on like before 1800. !797 is the best year but since he was born May25th 1765 he could have married 2 times. Married Cynthiania Bowers or an older spelling of that name in 1797 Sept. 2. Actually any MORRIS before 1800 would help . Sorry but if your relatives head west I can help you and will.
