I have checked the regional branch of the National Archives and they cannot find papers for William D. Hayden. The 1875 NY state census said he was already a citizen. Are these records with the Ulster County CLerk? Or perhaps at the NY State archives?? Would welcome any advice on how to proceed. I very much want to find these records. Please email me directly.
