Having just gone through two rolls of Orange County census, it has become very obvious that the railroad played a large roll in the lives of Deerpark residents. Edward Quick (born about 1840) was a carpenter employed by the Erie and was working in a gang on the Honesdale Branch when he was killed in an accident in 1878. Can anyone tell me if the railroad records of that area are in a depository somewhere?
