Seeking information on family and ancestry of Jacob Bodine (Budine), b. abt 1775, Ulster Co., NY; first appears in 1800 census, Marbletown, Ulster Co.; I believe him to be the Jacob Bodine shown in Kingston DRC christening records with wife, Elizabeth Delamater, christening son, Francis, on 20 Apr 1800. Moved by 1810 census to town of Middletown, Delaware Co., NY; d. aft 1860, prob. at Middletown. Known children Moses, Levi, and Thomas. Bodine family of Ulster Co. supposedly French Huguenots. This is not the Jacob Bodine who appears in Orange Co., NY records. There could be some connection to Francis Bodine of Ulster Co., and to the PERSLOW/PARSLOW family of same. Any help appreciated.
