    3. Hi Listers: Thanks to those of you who responded so quickly to my inquiry. I'm very new to this and appreciate all the help anyone can give me. I am researching my grandmother's family (Hendricks) and have very little info to go on. She was an Iowa Orphan Train Rider, and rarely if ever, spoke of her childhood. I was able to find out that she was born in Marbletown, NY, in approximately 1893. She was sent to the Children's Aid Society in 1904 from the "KINGSTON INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL", where she had been for about one year. I'm thinking that Sharon of Connecticut, who responded to my inquiry, is probably correct in that it must have been a residential school for orphans. I am assuming that it no longer exists. I will contact the Kingston Library to see if they have any information on it. Barbara
