Hello. I may have a chink in my brick wall. HINCKLEY or HINKLEY, George. Census records & certs indicate he was born 1835 in �NY.� Big place. I found in �The Hinckley MSS� compiled by Josiah Hinckley, a George HINKLEY born after 1822 of Nathan HINKLEY son of John and Delight RURCH(?) HINKLEY and Margaret FRAZER, dau of Simon and Abia POTTER FRAZER. Nathan was born in Fishkill, Dutchess Co prob 1780s. Margaret was b. in Shandakin, Ulster Co., NY. Both Nathan and Margart died in Ulster Co.: Nathan in Hardenburg or Hardinburg, and Margaret in Shandakin. She was b. 1779. No marriage info or birth date for George HINKLEY. Presuming for the moment that since his parents died in Ulster Co, that children were born there. Does anyone have records of either of these families? Other children of Nathan and Margaret were Elizabeth, who m. Jonathan Harrington or Harringtine; Simon b.1810, m. Mary Eliz. FIERE; Polly b.1813, m.
