Hi everyone...well today I go to the post office to send the UCGS my family history and whast agreat feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to to this in Aug. but decided to wait for 2 death certs first and guess what? I broke a 5year brickwall and can pull the Lockwood line back to 1700's in Ulster county!!! The best part is that now the lineage ties in with the book..The descendants of Robert Lockwood....the book itself contains errors and I did not include info from that book on the work I sent to UCGS. What a great feeling to share 5 years worth of research!!!!!!!!! Of course I still have things in there I need to research but I hope this will help others researching Lockwoods! I highly recommend sharing some of your work with a genealogical society..its a great feeling! :-) Michele Lockwood
