RE: E. K. Henderson looking for Dorothy Orpha Lane. I am also a Lane researcher and I did a little checking on Ancestry and found Orpha Lane, age approximately 14, living in Kingston, New York in the 1900 US Federal Census in the household of Hattie (I think it is Nettie and the transcriber put Hattie) Lane (a widow) and having siblings, Edith approximately 18 years of age, Oscar approximately 17 years of age and Addie approximately 12 years of age. The information states that Hattie is age 45 and had 6 children and 5 are living. It looks like they were living on Wall Street at the time of the census. Hope this helps. Sonia
