All served in the rev. war from Marbletown. Thanks. Carol Church Hello Carol and All, I have just resumed transcribing records of the Kripple Bush Methodist Church and I'm happy to say there are many CHAMBERS found throughout them. So far I have not found a Talbott but I'll keep an eye out for that name. Here is what I found so far on Jacob: Marriage: Jacob CHAMBERS to Mary HASBROUCK on the 15th day of April, 1800, performed by Rev. Stephen Goetchius I do not know where this wedding actually took place -- probably in someone's home -- because the actual church was not built until 1857. The records I am transcribing consist of 4 ledger books, compiled in the late 1800s, early 1900s. Much of the information is handwritten by a wonderful gentleman named Elmer WILKLOW. He also pasted various newspaper clippings, including lots of valuable obituraries, into the books. I'll be posting more tidbits shortly, Marilyn Marilyn Hough Stern KrippleBush, NY mhoughstern@aol.com ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
