My James was born circa 1740, his son Henry born circa 1770, his son Henry B Smith was born 1791, ulster county. NY. They left the Woodstock area about 1840 to go to Michigan. Do you have any Henrys? I wonder if my James was a Jacob Smith and if the group was Palatine from Germantown.I do not know wives or siblings, but am willing to share descendent , etc.info.
