She was born Amanda Clearwater July 1836. I have no record of her marriage to William BURR, a "horse dealer" from Rosendale but believe it to be around 1859-1861. They lived in Kingston. William died in 1883 and is buried in Rosendale. Amanda remarried in 1898 to Henry VOGT and died in 1914 and is buried in Montrepose Cemetery. I believe Amanda to be the daughter of John and Eliza (DeGraff) Clearwater of Marbletown. I don't see a family connection to JONES or BEAULEY/BULEY. However, I will continue to look for a link. Perhaps they were simply dear friends.
