I am looking for information on the BIRS family: Anthony S. b.1826 in NY, married to Ann ___ b. 1858 in Canada; children: Lewis B. b. 1858, Anthony N. b. 1862 (my g-grandfather), AbijahO. b.1865, Jennie b.1868, Mary b. 1871, and Alonzo b. 1874. These dates are from the 1880 census. Anthony N. married Alice Terwilliger from Summitville, Sullivan County, NY, date unknown; children: Howard b. 1888 and Fred b. 1889 (my grandfather) both born in Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ (info from birth registers and SS applications). I found Alonzo in the WWI Draft Registration for 1918, living in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY, married to Emma and working for Donald Mackay on 4th Ave., in NYC as a shipping clerk.
