Dear "nevhome", I find the baptismal record of your "Catharina" in the published baptismal records of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Camp. She was born (as you say) on 18 Feb 1715 and baptized on 27 Feb 1715. He parents were Phillip Haupt and his wife Gerdraut ______. You will find a discussion of this immigrant HAUPT family on pages 345-346 of Volume I of Hank Z. Jones' 1985 book, "The Palatine Families of New York". Philipp Haupt and his first wife, Anna Catharina Doersch, and their 3 children were on Captain Francois Waren's ship in the 5th party of Palatine immigrants in 1709. Two more children were born to this couple in America, and then Anna Catharina died. Your Catharina was the only child of Philipp Haupt's second marriage to Gertrude _______. Catharina Haupt was married to Conrad Bason prior to 1736 because Hank JOnes found that a "Catharina Basin born Heupt(in) joined the [Lutheran] Church at Camp in 1732" according to the Loonenburg Lutheran CHurchbook. Conrad Bason's parents and siblings are documented on pages 20-22 of the same volume. Seven children of Conrad Basin and Catherine "Heip" [Haupt] are listed on page 21, the oldest being "Johann Heinrich Bason" born 8 Mar 1736. In Hank Z. Jones' lastest compilation, a 3-volume work published in 2002 entitled "Even More Palatine Families", on pages 1684 and 1685, he says, "To the list of children of Conrad Bason who married Catharina Heip should be added an elder daughter, Catharina, born about 1734. She married Henrich Winter, as evidenced by her surname in the Kinderhook Reformed and Red Hook Lutheran Churchbooks..."
