If so, he was the 3rd husband to my great-grandmother, Alice Churchill. They had one child together named Marie/Maria. Marie/Maria married a Koupthout. I'm not positive but he may buried in the cemetary in Port Ewen. I'm not sure of the name of the cemetary though; possibly Riverview Cemetary. My great-grandmother's first marriage was to someone in the Williams family and had 2 children: Alma & Leslie. She later married William "Bill" McGovern and had my grandmother, Elizabeth Hazel McGovern. For some reason, the Winchell name has come up from time to time in regards to my great-grandmother but I have no idea what the relation is, if any. I do not have very much more information on that side of my family though. My great-grandfather, William McGovern, passed away when my grandmother was 3 and, by the time I became involved with genealogy, my grandmother's memory was gone regarding her mother.
