They lived in New London and Rome and Verona, Oneida Co., NY, up until that time. Jacob B. Smith was the first Smith to move to Ulster Co. His wife was named Almira Arnold-Smith. Their children were: Nelson Smith; Frank Smith; and Nathan Smith. If anyone is connected to this family, please contact me. The Smiths married into the LeFever family in the late 1890s.
