My Dickinson related Jenks seem to be from R.I., Vt. and Beyerville, NY. I'm not sure where Beyerville is, I haven't looked it up as yet and since I"m on my laptop right now, I haven't access to my map collection to see. Some of the Jenks line ended up in Steuben Co NY. My Gggrandfather Charles Dickinson Jenks lived in Wayland, Steuben Co. NY with my Gggrandmother Louisa Hammond Jenks. Charles' son Charles Edward served in the Civil War and died in 1889 and he was married to Cary Ferris Jenks and they also lived in Wayland.
