She was born about 1790 in Scotland. Daughter of William Douglas and Jean Turrner Houden. She and James were married in Scotland in 1819 and had the following children: James b 1821 William b 1823 Robert b 1825 Jean b 1827. Came to US sometime after daughter Jean was born and went to Dutchess County and Ulster County. Son William settled in Esopus, Ulster Co, NY. Any help is grealy appreciated. Nancy
