I was wondering if you have any other information on the Lounsberry (and other spellings)? My mother was born Carrie Marie Lounsberry in 1912 in Riverside (Near Binghamton), Broome County, NY, to Wilbur Lounsberry and Marie C. Hayes Lounsberry. There were siblings, John Clarence, Ernest and Frederick. The children ended up in the Susquehanna Valley Home Orphanage in 1915 because of my grandmother being an unfit mother. Wilbur disappears after this, never to be heard from again. According to the papers the orphanage had, he was born in Brookdale, Pa. In about 1940 my mother found her brothers and birth mother again and I met them and remember going to my grandmother's funeral. The siblings were close after that, except for Frederick and the only thing I know about him is that he died young. It would be fantastic if you had any clues to my grandfather. Maybe we have been in contact before. Your name does look familiar to me. Thanks ever so much, Elaine Decker
